Directing In Memorium gifts to Hospice Mississauga is a frequent wish of palliative individuals and their families. Hospice Mississauga can provide you with a customized link to send to family and friends who wish to make a donation in memory of your loved one.

Donors will receive a tax receipt for all In Memorium gift and a thank you letter is also sent to the person making the donation.
A list of all the names and addresses of the donations is sent to the family should they desire to send out their own thank you notes.
By donating publicly traded securities, you eliminate the capital gains tax that you’d have to pay if you sold the securities and then donated the proceeds. You’ll also receive a charitable tax receipt for your donation.
Securities can include stocks, mutual funds, segregated funds, bonds, flow-through shares, and employee stock options. You can give now, or as part of your estate and will planning.
Giving is simple. Consult your financial advisor then ask your broker to transfer your securities to Hospice Mississauga by completing the appropriate transfer form.

Your workplace may offer to deduct donations from your payroll and send to Hospice Mississauga on your behalf. Some employers will even match donations made by employees and/or will make donations based on an employee’s volunteer work with their charity of choice. Speak with your manager or human resources team to learn more.
