Volunteer With Us!

Volunteers are the heart of our mission to provide compassion, support, and advocacy that lessens the distress of serious illness and loss on individuals, families, and the community.

We offer a variety of opportunities to serve the community, including client support and indirect service roles, such as special event support, photography, and donor appreciation.

In-home Volunteering

Visit people living with a life limiting illness in their homes, providing social and emotional support, and respite for caregivers.

Drivers

Drive for a purpose! Help get people to and from our social and wellness programs. We offer compensation for mileage.

Complementary Therapy

Support our clients by providing Reiki, Therapeutic Touch, or Gentle Aroma Touch, to support relaxation and well-being.

Photography

Help us capture meaningful moments through photography. This will help promote the important work we do.

Videography

Support special events and key hospice moments through production and editing of promotional videos. Experience is required.

Donor Appreciation

Help us thank our donors through phone, email, or hand-written letters, for supporting the impactful work of Hospice Mississauga.

Speakers Bureau

Represent Hospice Mississauga by delivering presentations to community groups to share our mission, programs, and impact.

Special Event Support

Provide hands-on support during hospice events including set-up, clean-up, and event execution.
