Hospice Mississauga programs and services
Hospice Counselling
Our Hospice Counsellors are available to guide conversations around end of life with the goal of reducing anxieties and fears. They offer individual and family counselling, advocacy, education and system navigation.
Grief & Bereavement
Support does not stop when a loved one dies; we continue to help grievers adjust to life, find healthy ways to cope, and honour their loved one.
Social Connections
We offer regular opportunities for people living with serious illness to meet, connect and socialize with others through a variety of activities.
Spiritual Care
Exploration of spiritual and existential concerns. Spiritual care may encompass various practices, such as prayer, counseling, or simply offering a compassionate presence, aimed at promoting inner peace and a sense of connection.
Support for Children – Help Us Understand Grief (HUUG) Program
Our HUUG Counsellors offer age-appropriate support for children and youth facing end-of-life and bereavement through play, counselling and education.
Wellness
Wellness programs can support overall well-being of those at end-of-life, their caregivers and loved ones.
