Register today and walk in support of our mission to provide compassion, support and advocacy that lessens the distress of serious illness and loss on individuals, families and the community.
Our family-friendly route is fully accessible, complete with rest stops to socialize, hydrate, or tighten your laces, reflect and connect stations, and a dedication wall to celebrate loved ones.
The day starts with welcome activities and an opening ceremony, followed by our walk through the neighbourhood and passed the site for the new Hospice Centre before returning to Sherwood Village for lunch and the presentation of awards. The route is approximately 5 km but you can walk as much or as little as you choose, the route is flexible to meet your needs.

Together, we can honour loved ones and help bring comfort to others. You can raise funds online, safely and securely for yourself, or your team.
Here are some tips to help you register:
1. JOIN A TEAM. If you know someone has already started one, simply search the team name, click and join.
2. To start a new TEAM, simply click on Register a Team and type your TEAM NAME in the header and follow the registration prompts. By default you are the TEAM CAPTAIN and can invite others to join you.
3. To join as an INDIVIDUAL, register with your NAME or join our Hospice Mississauga HIKING HEROS team, a collection of caring individuals who want to raise funds and walk as part of a group but don’t have a team to register.

This dedicated group of individuals connect throughout the year at weekly walking and social events as they support each other during the grief journey.
So far this group together has raised more than $2000 and counting in funding from both online and offline donations.
