Living with serious illness or the death of a loved one is difficult for families. A child’s experience of these moments is not the same as an adult’s. It’s important to know how to care for children in age-appropriate ways that align with their development, and their circumstances. Our counsellors help children understand grief, express thoughts, feeling and emotions, remember loved ones who have died, communicate and support one another and develop tools to cope in healthy ways.
