Just ask Maya. When her sister Sabrina’s health declined, there was no Hospice Centre in Mississauga. But with Hospice Mississauga’s support, her family turned their living room into a sacred space for one last gift: Maya’s wedding.
And then there’s Ahmed, now a widowed father of three. After losing his wife, he turned to our grief programs and children’s HUUG program for support. “It’s been a lifeline,” he says. His family is learning how to heal together.
